Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy covers this website and commercial contact with Arctic Digital. SeaFleet Manager, the product, is covered by a separate privacy policy dealing with customer data and the Article 28 GDPR processor obligations that come with it. The two are deliberately kept apart, because the roles are different: here we are the controller of our own enquiries; there we process data on behalf of the operator who uses the product.

Who is responsible

Arctic Digital, S.L. is the data controller for the personal data described here. Our identifying and contact details are in the aviso legal. To exercise any right below, or to ask anything about this policy, write to info@arcticdigital.eu.

What we collect, and why

The contact form collects your name, company, email address and the message you write. We use it for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not use it for marketing lists, we do not profile you, and we do not sell or share it for anyone else's purposes.

If you email us directly, the same applies to whatever is in your email.

Legal basis

Where your enquiry concerns a possible contract with us, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. Where it does not, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in answering people who contact our business, which we consider not to be overridden by your rights, since you chose to contact us and the data is limited to what you sent.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted 24 months after the last contact. Where a contract follows, the data is retained for as long as the commercial relationship requires and afterwards for the periods Spanish commercial and tax law impose.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of providers, each bound by a data processing agreement:

  • Vercel — hosting for this website.
  • Resend — delivery of the email the contact form generates.
  • Google Workspace — our own email, where your message arrives.

Where these providers process data in the United States, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and stores no identifier on your device. See the cookie policy.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, and its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@arcticdigital.eu and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es.
